Overview
StakeHabit ("we", "us", or "our") is committed to protecting your privacy. This policy explains what data we collect when you use the StakeHabit iOS app, how we use it, and your rights regarding that data.
By using StakeHabit, you agree to the collection and use of information as described in this policy.
Data We Collect

We do not collect your location, contacts, photos, health data, browsing history, or any sensitive personal information beyond what is listed above.
We never store raw card numbers. All payment data is handled directly by Stripe and subject to their security standards.
Third-Party Services
StakeHabit uses the following third-party services that may collect and process data on our behalf:
- Stripe — Payment processing. Stripe collects and stores your payment method details and processes penalty charges. Stripe's handling of your data is governed by the Stripe Privacy Policy.
- Supabase — Backend database and authentication. Your account, habit, and check-in data is stored on Supabase servers. Supabase's practices are described in the Supabase Privacy Policy.
- Apple Sign In — Authentication. Sign in with Apple is governed by the Apple Privacy Policy.
How We Use Your Data
- To create and manage your account
- To store and display your habit, schedule, and check-in history
- To process penalty charges when you log a missed check-in
- To calculate and display your streak
- To send daily reminder notifications (only if you enable them)
We do not use your data for advertising, profiling, or any purpose beyond operating the app.
Data Retention
We retain your data for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, your habit data, check-in history, and account information are permanently deleted from our servers. Payment records may be retained by Stripe in accordance with their legal obligations.
Your Rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to:
- Access the personal data we hold about you
- Request correction of inaccurate data
- Request deletion of your data
- Export your data in a portable format
- Withdraw consent at any time
To exercise any of these rights, contact us at the email below. You can also delete your account directly in the app under Settings → Delete Account.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this privacy policy from time to time. We will notify you of any material changes by updating the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
